How can Middlesbrough be a home to Thriving people in a Thriving place, whilst respecting ALL people and the health of the whole planet?

This means leaving no one falling short on the essentials of life,

(the hole in the middle of the doughnut) and not overshooting the planetary boundaries (outer ring of the doughnut).

But our current state in the UK shows that we are devastating the environment and

people are not having the basic things that we all need. DEAL (Doughnut Economics Action Lab) shows us the tools and  methods to make it better. BORO Doughnut is part of this network groups.
